Jordan: where to read the law

Jordan is the outlier in the Levant: the Legislation and Opinion Bureau maintains a searchable official database of legislation, which is the single most useful thing any government in the region publishes. It is Arabic-first. Judgments are less openly available than statutes, and the English-language layer is thin, so the research guide below is the practical starting point for anyone not reading Arabic.

This is a directory, not a summary of the law. Nothing here tells you what a rule says - it tells you where the authoritative text lives so you can read it yourself. Links last checked .
